Who is Constance Marie?

American actress Constance Marie Lopez was born in East Los Angeles, California USA, on 9 September 1965, making Virgo her zodiac sign. She has 53 credits to her name, but is perhaps still known best for starring as Angie Lopez in all 120 episodes of the comedy “George Lopez”, which besides George Lopez also starred Luis Armand Garcia, and was created by Bruce Helford and Robert Borden. It follows the life of a plant manager from Los Angeles, the series aired from 2002 through 2007, and won 10 of its 42 award nominations.

Education and early life

Constance was raised in East Los Angeles by her parents, however, she’s yet to speak about her mother and father in public, because she respects their privacy; it’s believed that she’s an only child, as she hasn’t spoken about having siblings.

She studied at a local high school and became interested in acting during her freshman year; Constance was also passionate about dancing, and was a cheerleader during her sophomore and junior years. She matriculated in 1984 and then performed as a dancer in the Ryuichi Sakamoto’s musical “Cosmopolis” in Japan.

Upon her return to the USA, she was hired to work as the late British singer-songwriter David Bowie’s dancer during his 1987 Glass Spider Tour; having already become a successful dancer, Constance chose not to pursue a college degree.
